France will begin supplying Ukraine with its newly developed Colibri kamikaze drones in the coming weeks, French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced on October 16. The drones have successfully completed tests and will also be delivered to the French armed forces. The Colibri unmanned aerial vehicles have an operational range of approximately 5 kilometers, can operate for about 30 minutes, and have an operational cost estimated to be under €20,000 each. This marks France's first domestically developed kamikaze drones, signifying the nation's continued support for Ukraine amid ongoing conflicts.
