France has condemned Israel's decision to declare UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres persona non grata, calling the move 'unjustified, serious, and counterproductive'. The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed regret over the decision and reaffirmed its full support for Guterres. Additionally, the UN Security Council has criticized Israel's action, stating that any attempt to delegitimize Guterres' work is counterproductive. The elected 10 members of the UN Security Council, including countries such as Guyana, Malta, Ecuador, Algeria, Sierra Leone, Mozambique, Slovenia, South Korea, Japan, and Switzerland, have also announced their full support for Guterres.
