France has banned Israeli defense companies from participating in the Eurosatory 2024 defense and security exhibition, the world's largest arms fair, scheduled to be held in Paris from June 17-21. According to a spokesperson for the organizers, the decision was made by government authorities due to Israel's ongoing military operations in Gaza, particularly the IDF operation in Rafah. The French Ministry of Defense stated that the conditions for welcoming Israeli companies were not met, citing the lack of a ceasefire in Gaza. This ban affects 74 Israeli companies that were expected to participate in the world's largest defense exhibition.
