Four-Star Recruit Kiyan Anthony, Son of Carmelo, Commits to Syracuse

Kiyan Anthony, the son of NBA legend and former Syracuse star Carmelo Anthony, has officially committed to play basketball at Syracuse University. The announcement was made on Friday during Carmelo Anthony's podcast "7PM in Brooklyn," with Kiyan declaring, "I'm committing to Syracuse University." His mother, LaLa Anthony, was also present at the announcement. Kiyan is a four-star recruit, ranked No. 34 overall in the 2025 class and the No. 1 prospect in New York. The 6-foot-5, 185-pound wing aims to "show people what Syracuse basketball is supposed to be like" and to "create [his] own name" at Syracuse.
