The breach, which was disclosed on Thursday, involved the theft of 440GB of files by a hacker known as 'Fortibitch.' The compromised data includes information from Microsoft's SharePoint. Fortinet stated that less than 0.3% of its customers were affected, which translates to around 1,500 customers based on the company's latest earnings. The company has acknowledged that an individual intruder accessed a limited number of files.
