This decision concludes a seven-year legal battle during which De Lima, a prominent human rights campaigner and critic of former President Rodrigo Duterte's war on drugs, faced multiple charges. Earlier in the day, a minor disobedience case against her was also dismissed. With this acquittal, De Lima is now free from all charges.
