Former Loretto Hospital CFO and Two Others Charged in $15 Million Embezzlement Scheme

Anosh Ahmed, the former CFO of Loretto Hospital, has been charged in a federal indictment for his involvement in a $15 million embezzlement scheme. Ahmed, who resigned amid COVID-19 vaccination controversies in 2021, is accused of defrauding the West Side facility over a five-year period. He is alleged to have fled to Dubai. Ahmed's friend, Sameer Suhail, is also implicated in the scheme. Three individuals in total have been charged.
