Former FSB agent and Russian commander Igor Strelkov (Girkin) is reportedly being released from prison and sent to the frontline in Ukraine. According to Russian telegram channels and the publication SHOT, his lawyers managed to obtain authorization from all relevant departments for his release. Girkin, who previously served as the defense minister of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), will now allegedly serve in the 'special operations' (SMO) zone.
