Former DuPage Prosecutor Arrested for Threatening State Reps and Gun Control Groups

A former DuPage County prosecutor has been arrested and charged with threatening two Illinois state representatives and several gun control groups. The prosecutor allegedly made these threats on social media, including a post suggesting that a bomb could go off at a downstate LGBTQ festival. In one of the posts, he reportedly said, 'the day we put your kids’ feet first into a woodchipper so we can enjoy their last few screams is coming.' Federal prosecutors announced the charges earlier this year.
