Former Los Angeles Clippers trainer Randy Shelton is suing the franchise for wrongful termination. The lawsuit, filed today, claims that Leonard was subjected to improper medical practices, including the administration of drugs shortly before games. Additionally, Shelton accuses the Clippers of tampering with Leonard for years prior to his signing in 2019, including a years-long recruiting campaign and leveraging Shelton's relationship with Leonard dating back to his college days at SDSU. The Clippers have denied these allegations, stating that Shelton's claims were investigated and found to be without merit, and that his employment contract was honored and paid in full.
