Former Clark County Public Administrator Robert Telles has been sentenced to spend at least 26 years in prison before he is eligible for parole for the murder of Review-Journal investigative reporter Jeff German. Telles was found guilty of murdering German and had already been sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 20 years. The judge determined the minimum time Telles will spend in prison, considering enhancements for a deadly weapon and German’s age as a senior. The sentencing took place in Las Vegas.
