Foreign Nationals Indicted for 29-Count Swatting Operation Targeting US Officials

Two foreign nationals, Thomasz Szabo, 26, from Romania and Nemanja Radovanovic, 21, from Serbia, have been indicted and charged in connection with a large-scale swatting operation targeting senior U.S. government officials, including members of Congress and cabinet-level officials. The charges, announced in Washington, D.C., include 29 counts of threats and false information regarding explosives. The swatting campaign also targeted private citizens, universities, houses of worship, and businesses. The investigation involved multiple agencies, including the FBI, Secret Service, and Capitol Police.
