A Florida plastic surgeon, Dr. Benjamin Brown, 41, has been charged with manslaughter following the death of his 33-year-old wife, who died during surgery in November. The incident occurred while Dr. Brown was performing multiple procedures on her in his office. Reports indicate that his wife began seizing on the operating table, but Dr. Brown refused to call 911 for up to 20 minutes. Additionally, she was allowed to prepare and take her own anesthesia despite not having a license. Authorities arrested Dr. Brown more than six months after the incident.
