VisitFlashbots and rsync Launch BOB on TDX TEE-Based MEV Solution for Ethereum
Sep 27, 2024, 03:13 PM
Flashbots and rsync teams have collaborated to introduce a significant technological advancement in the Ethereum supply chain. They have successfully implemented Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) in the context of Maximum Extractable Value (MEV), setting a milestone in practical applications. The project, known as BOB on TDX, allows for trustless capture of bottom-of-block arbitrages without frontrunning risks. This innovation involves running a sandboxed proprietary process from an untrusted searcher tenant, accessing sensitive data from a colocated builder. The technology promises fast, private, and permissionless searching capabilities for atomic bots, enabling them to compete for bottom-of-block arbitrages without special deals or risks to users. This development has already seen the landing of 440 bundles on the mainnet.
