Julian "JuJu" Lewis, a five-star quarterback and the No. 2 overall recruit in the 2025 ESPN 300, has committed to the University of Colorado. The 6-foot, 185-pound signal-caller from Carrollton, Georgia, made his announcement live on The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday, just four days after decommitting from USC, where he had been pledged for 15 months. This marks the highest-ranked recruit in Colorado's history and a significant recruiting victory for head coach Deion Sanders, known as Coach Prime. Lewis cited his trust in Coach Prime and quarterbacks coach Pat Shurmur to help him become the player he wants to be. Considered one of the most college-ready high school quarterbacks, Lewis is expected to be the successor to current Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders, further solidifying Colorado's future at the position.
