FIU Renames Stadium to 'Pitbull Stadium' in $6M, Five-Year Deal

Florida International University (FIU) has entered into a significant partnership with international recording artist Pitbull, resulting in the renaming of its football stadium to 'Pitbull Stadium.' The agreement, valued at $6 million over five years, includes Pitbull paying $1.2 million annually for the naming rights. Pitbull will also assume the title 'Official Entrepreneur of FIU Athletics' and will have the ability to use the stadium for up to 10 days per year without additional fees. The deal also includes the sale of Pitbull's Voli 305 Vodka at games, two suites for up to 40 people, and the creation of an 'FIU Anthem' by Pitbull. This marks the first time an athletic venue has been named after a recording artist.
