At least 11 people died in a fire that broke out early Friday morning in a five-storey residential and commercial building in Manila's Chinatown precinct. The blaze, which occurred in the Binondo district of the Philippine capital, was doused after three hours. It remains unclear if more people are trapped and feared dead. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire. Police said the fire swept through part of a small building.
