VisitFinland to Offer Bird Flu Vaccine to Select High-Risk Groups in Global First
Jun 5, 2024, 12:45 PM
Finland is preparing to become the first country to offer a bird flu vaccine to select groups of people at risk of exposure to the H5N1 virus. The vaccine being used is similar to one from the U.S. stockpile. It remains to be seen if other countries will follow Finland's lead in this public health measure. DrewQJoseph reports.
