Figure Robotics has partnered with BMW Group's Spartanburg Plant to implement fully autonomous robots powered by AI-driven vision models and neural networks. These robots are capable of precise pick and place operations, specifically handling sheet metal parts with visuomotor policies. The deployment showcases the robots' ability to perform end-to-end BMW use cases, with manipulations learned through 200hz pixel-to-action neural networks. The robots' behaviors are trained exclusively in simulation and are designed to be incredibly precise, with less than 1cm accuracy in sheet metal insertion.
