Fethullah Gulen, the leader of the Gulen Movement and a U.S.-based Turkish cleric, has died in Pennsylvania at the age of 83. Gulen, who was also known as an opposition figure, was accused by Ankara of masterminding a coup attempt in Turkey in 2016 and running a parallel state in the country to seize control of some government functions.
