The ruling affects four Republican-led states: Kansas, Alaska, Utah, and Wyoming. The states, along with three conservative activist groups, sued the administration, arguing it lacked the authority to adopt such regulations. The judge's order also extends to any school nationwide where members of Young America's Foundation or the children of Moms for Liberty attend. The blocked protections are part of the administration's Title IX rule.
