A federal judge has granted Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey's motion to block President Joe Biden's rewrite of Title IX, which would have allowed biological males into female spaces. This decision is seen as a significant victory for women's rights advocates who argue that the inclusion of 'gender identity' in Title IX undermines the privacy, safety, and opportunities of women and girls. The ruling prevents the Education Department from enforcing the rule that several states argued improperly forces them to ignore a student's biological sex in favor of self-professed 'gender identity.' The injunction applies to Missouri and six other states.
