Authorities, including the FBI, are investigating incidents where incendiary devices were used to set fire to ballot drop boxes in Portland, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington, early Monday morning. In Vancouver, the fire occurred shortly after 4 a.m. at the ballot drop box located at Fisher's Landing Transit Center. Clark County Auditor Greg Kimsey stated that hundreds of ballots were inside at the time, with the last pickup being at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Voters who deposited ballots at this location after 8 a.m. on Sunday are urged to contact the Election Auditor's Office immediately for a replacement ballot. In Portland, police responded around 3:30 a.m. to a fire at a ballot box at the Multnomah County Elections office, where an incendiary device was found inside the box. No suspects have been identified in either incident. Both fires resulted in the destruction of hundreds of ballots.
