FBI Attempts to Unlock Cellphone of Alleged Trump Rally Shooter with Court Approval

The FBI is attempting to unlock the cellphone of Thomas Matthew Crooks, the man who allegedly attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump at a Pennsylvania rally. The cellphone has been flown to the FBI’s lab in Quantico for analysis, with court approval. Despite being about 70% complete with their analysis, investigators have not yet determined Crooks' motive. The FBI is also planning to examine Crooks' laptop for further insights.
