Families of Marines Killed in 2022 Osprey Crash Sue Boeing, Bell, Rolls Royce

Family members of the five U.S. Marines who were killed in the 2022 Osprey V-22 crash in California have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the aircraft's manufacturers, including Boeing, Bell, and Rolls Royce. The lawsuit alleges that the contractors lied about the V-22’s safety and that the tiltrotor aircraft does not meet government safety specifications. Additionally, it claims that the manufacturers failed to address known mechanical failures. Families of four of the five Marines are involved in the lawsuit.
