Simmons, a four-time All-Pro and two-time Pro Bowl selection, is joining the Falcons on a one-year contract valued at $8 million, with $7.5 million guaranteed. The addition of Simmons comes as part of a significant defensive overhaul for the Falcons, who also recently acquired Pro Bowler Matthew Judon.
