Kenya's Faith Cherotich emerged victorious in the women's 3000m steeplechase at the Diamond League Final in Brussels. Cherotich, who is only 20 years old, clocked a time of 9:02.36, narrowly defeating Bahrain's Winfred Yavi, who finished in 9:02.87. Uganda's Peruth Chemutai secured the third position with a time of 9:07.60. This win marks Cherotich's first Diamond League title, as she pulled away from Yavi in the final stretch.
