The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a safety directive mandating inspections of Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. This decision follows a March incident involving a LATAM Airlines flight, where the plane experienced a sudden mid-air dive, resulting in injuries to more than 50 passengers. The inspections are focused on the cockpit seats, as there have been reports of inadvertent seat movements disrupting flights. Authorities have ordered immediate checks on 895 Boeing 787 planes to ensure the functionality of pilot and co-pilot seats.
