Former Kansas City, Kansas police captain Roger Golubski, 71, accused of sexually assaulting Black women and girls as young as 13 and terrorizing those who fought back, failed to appear in court for his federal trial set to begin Monday. Authorities issued an arrest warrant after his absence. Prosecutors later confirmed that Golubski was found dead before the trial began, reportedly having died by suicide.
