The European Federation of Journalists (EFJ), the largest organization of journalists in Europe representing over 295,000 journalists across 44 countries, has announced its decision to cease posting content on X (formerly Twitter) starting January 20, 2025. The EFJ cited concerns about the platform's transformation under Elon Musk, describing it as a 'machine of disinformation and propaganda.' This move coincides with the date Donald Trump is set to assume the U.S. presidency.
