EU Urges Apple to End Geo-Blocking on App Store, Apple Music

The European Commission, along with national authorities, has urged Apple Inc. to cease geo-blocking practices on its media services, including the App Store and Apple Music. This practice, which restricts content access based on users' locations, is seen as potentially violating EU consumer protection rules. Apple has been given one month to propose commitments on how it will address these concerns.
