VisitEU Parliament Approves €35 Billion Loan to Ukraine as Part of G7 Initiative

The European Parliament's profile committee has approved a €35 billion loan to Ukraine. This loan is part of the G7's $50 billion initiative to support Ukraine and will be repaid using profits from frozen Russian assets. The decision will be reviewed by the European Parliament on October 21–24. Ukrainian Foreign Minister has discussed the progress of this provision with the EU's chief diplomat. MEPs in the Trade Committee voted on Monday to support this loan.
