EU Ends Probe as Chinese Firms Withdraw from Romanian Solar Project

The European Union will terminate its investigation into Chinese companies bidding for a solar park project in Romania, following the withdrawal of the firms from the tender. The probe, which focused on anti-subsidy measures, prompted two Chinese-owned solar panel manufacturers to exit the public procurement process. This decision came after the EU initiated a fair competition investigation against these companies.
