The Ethereum Name Service (ENS) has announced a proposal to upgrade its protocol to a Layer 2 network, referred to as ENSv2. This move aims to enhance scalability and efficiency by leveraging Layer 2 solutions. ENS Labs has not yet determined which specific Layer 2 stack will be used, though there is consideration of using zkSync's stack.
