This marks the first time Erdogan has publicly indicated his willingness to extend his leadership, emphasizing his commitment to serving Turkey and the Turkish nation. Erdogan is increasingly using a pro-Ataturk rhetoric, suggesting that Ataturk could have created a much better Turkey had he governed longer. Additionally, Erdogan has expressed intentions to finalize the secure zone along the Türkiye-Syria border to sever connections between terrorist organizations and Turkish national borders.
