The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced the allocation of $4.3 billion in grants to fund 25 community-driven projects aimed at addressing the climate crisis. These projects target the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions across various sectors, including transportation, electric power, commercial and residential buildings, industry, agriculture, and waste and materials management. The selected projects were proposed by states, tribes, local governments, and territories, with the goal of reducing air pollution and advancing environmental justice.
