Endeavour Mining has announced the discovery of a gold deposit in eastern Côte d'Ivoire, marking a significant development in the country's mining sector. The company is preparing to exploit the Tanda-Iguéla gold mine, which was discovered in 2022, with production expected to begin in 2028. The mine is estimated to produce 11 tonnes of gold annually, potentially yielding a total of 150 tonnes over a 15-year period. This development positions Côte d'Ivoire as a future center for gold production in the region. Additionally, the International Extractive and Energy Resources Fair in Abidjan is set to promote the country's mining, oil, and energy potential, further highlighting Côte d'Ivoire's ambitions in the extractive industries.
