VisitElon Musk's PAC Invests $2.32 Million in Meta Ads, Sends 87,000 Checks to Support Trump
Oct 30, 2024, 01:50 PM
Elon Musk's political action committee (PAC) is heavily investing in the 2024 US elections, with significant spending on social media to support Donald Trump's campaign. The PAC has spent $2.32 million on nearly 2,000 ads across Meta platforms, targeting key swing states such as Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Arizona, Wisconsin, Georgia, and Michigan. Additionally, Musk's PAC has sent out over 87,000 checks to individuals who helped secure signatures from registered swing state voters on a petition. Campaign finance reports reveal that Musk has also contributed $2 million to a Texas political group backing Republican candidates for intermediary appeals courts. First stats from Elon’s super PAC suggest they’ve sent at least $8.8 million to voters. However, only a fraction of the spending is being steered to his own network X.
