Elon Musk has revived a lawsuit against OpenAI, the maker of the A.I. chatbot ChatGPT, and its CEO Sam Altman. The lawsuit, filed in Northern California, also names company president Greg Brockman as a defendant. Musk alleges that OpenAI has put profits and commercial interests ahead of the public good, contrary to the organization's original mission to develop AI for humanity's benefit. This legal action, reported by the NYT, refuels a six-year-old feud that began with a power struggle at the San Francisco start-up. The lawsuit also includes claims of fraud and breach of contract.
