Elon Musk has arrived in Bali, Indonesia, to launch SpaceX's Starlink satellite internet service on May 19. Starlink has been installed at 10 strategic points within the central government core area of Indonesia's capital city. Millions of people living in Indonesia's remote islands are expected to gain internet access with this launch. The service is set to be inaugurated at a community health center together with President Joko Widodo. The Indonesian government, represented by the Minister of Communication and Information, Budi Arie Setiadi, is urging Musk to build a network operations center for Starlink in the country. Starlink aims to provide internet connectivity to remote areas, potentially moving the GDP of countries by providing access to information and educational resources. The launch includes a trial for the health sector.
