VisitElon Musk Invests Over $118 Million, Including $43.6 Million in October, to Support Trump's Presidential Campaign
Oct 24, 2024, 10:55 PM
Elon Musk, the billionaire founder of Tesla and SpaceX, has committed substantial financial resources to support Donald Trump's presidential campaign. Musk has invested over $118 million into America PAC, a super PAC focused on electing Trump, including $43.6 million in the first half of October. Additionally, he has donated $10 million to the Senate Leadership Fund and $2.4 million to the Sentinel Action Fund. Musk's involvement extends beyond financial contributions, as he uses his social media platform, X, to rally support for Trump. His efforts include a scheme promising a chance to win $1 million for voters who support Trump. With less than two weeks until Election Day, Musk's contributions have intensified, making him the second-largest pro-Trump donor, trailing only Timothy Mellon, who has donated $150 million. Musk's total investments include $70 million committed earlier and $75 million with a potential spot in the Efficiency Commission.
