El Salvador has launched a new website that allows public access to its national Bitcoin treasury, which currently holds 5,748.76 Bitcoins valued at approximately $360 million. The website is part of the country's efforts to enhance transparency and accountability in its Bitcoin investments. This initiative aligns with the government's policy of purchasing one Bitcoin daily. The National Bitcoin Office, led by President Nayib Bukele, oversees this operation, which is also tracked through a dedicated mempool space.
