Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has proposed a two-day ceasefire in Gaza. The proposal includes the exchange of four Israeli hostages for some Palestinian prisoners. Following the ceasefire, a 10-day negotiation period is planned to discuss a more comprehensive ceasefire agreement. President El-Sisi referred to the Palestinian prisoners as terrorists.
