VisitEarth's Warming Rate Hit All-Time High in 2023, 92% Due to Human Activity
Jun 5, 2024, 12:08 AM
A new study has concluded that the rate at which Earth is warming reached an all-time high in 2023. The study, conducted by top scientists including those from the University of Leeds, found that 92% of the record-shattering heat experienced last year was caused by human activities. The remaining 8% was primarily attributed to the El Niño phenomenon. Despite the unprecedented rate of warming, the study found no evidence that climate change is accelerating. The findings were reported on June 4 and June 5, 2024.
