Oct 31, 2024, 04:46 AM
Early voting has set records for turnout in the 2024 election cycle, with millions of Americans casting their ballots before Election Day on November 5. As of October 30, a total of 59,088,325 early votes have been cast across 47 states and Washington D.C. This includes 31,018,125 in-person early votes and 27,952,363 returned mail-in ballots, out of 66,038,015 requested mail ballots. The surge in early voting comes after state legislatures changed voting laws following the 2020 election cycle.
