VisitDutch Golfer Joost Luiten Denied Paris Olympic Spot Despite Winning Court Case
Jul 9, 2024, 06:27 PM
Dutch golfer Joost Luiten will not be able to compete in the Paris Olympics despite winning a court case in the Netherlands. The International Golf Federation (IGF) had already allocated his spot to another athlete, and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) denied IGF's request to increase the field size to 61. The Dutch Olympic Committee initially decided that Luiten was not good enough to compete, leading to the court case.
