Mohammed Khatib, the European coordinator of Samidoun, a group designated as a terrorist organization by the US and Canada, has faced significant legal challenges in Europe. Recently, he was banned from entering the Netherlands following a vote by the Dutch House of Representatives to include Samidoun, an offshoot of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), on its list of terrorist organizations. This decision aligns with similar actions taken by Germany, which had previously recognized the group as a terrorist entity. Khatib, who has been arrested multiple times in Berlin, is also reportedly at risk of having his asylum seeker status in Belgium revoked, indicating a growing intolerance for perceived terrorism within European borders.
