Phil Robertson, the 78-year-old patriarch of the family featured on the reality television show 'Duck Dynasty,' has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, his family confirmed on December 6. His son, Jase Robertson, disclosed on the 'Unashamed with the Robertson Family' podcast that his father is in the early stages of the disease and is also battling a blood disorder causing widespread health issues. 'According to doctors, we're sure he has some sort of blood disease that's causing all kinds of problems,' Jase said. 'It's accelerated and causing problems with his entire body.' Phil Robertson, founder of Duck Commander, gained fame through 'Duck Dynasty,' which aired for 11 seasons on A&E from 2012 to 2017, showcasing the family's business in Louisiana.
