Sep 7, 2024, 05:56 AM
A series of drone attacks by Ukrainian forces targeted ammunition depots in Russia's Voronezh region, specifically in the Ostrogozhsky district, on the night of September 7, 2024. The attacks resulted in massive fires and explosions, prompting local authorities to declare a state of emergency and evacuate residents from nearby settlements, including Soldatskoye. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense and electronic warfare forces detected and suppressed the drones. Despite this, explosions continued throughout the night, and the situation remains critical. There have been no reported casualties, but the extent of the damage is significant. The affected area is 130km from Ukraine, and the ongoing detonations have been confirmed by NASA fire monitor. There were also reports of North Korea missiles being stored at the warehouse.
