VisitDrew Lock's 5 TDs End Giants' 10-Game Skid, Nabers Hits 1,000 Yards in 45-33 Win Over Colts
Dec 29, 2024, 07:12 PM
New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in his rookie season during the Giants' 45-33 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Nabers recorded seven receptions for 171 yards and two touchdowns, including a 31-yard score and a 59-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. He became the second Giants rookie to surpass 1,000 receiving yards, after Odell Beckham Jr. Quarterback Drew Lock delivered an outstanding performance, completing 17 of 23 passes for 309 yards and four touchdowns, and adding a rushing touchdown. Lock had a perfect passer rating in the first half. He threw touchdown passes to Darius Slayton (32 yards) and Wan'Dale Robinson (5 yards). Rookie running back Tyrone Tracy surpassed 1,000 yards from scrimmage, making Nabers and Tracy the third rookie duo in NFL history to each achieve over 1,000 yards from scrimmage in the same season. The win snapped the Giants' 10-game losing streak and eliminated the Colts from playoff contention.
